The portal says my card is invalid — what should I do?
If the portal says your card is invalid or a payment won't go through, first double-check that the card number, expiry date, and security code were entered exactly, and that the card hasn't expired. Eyesurf accepts Visa, Visa Debit, and Mastercard. Don't keep retrying the same card — try once with a different card, and if that fails too, call billing at 1-855-804-7873. You can also make your payment by phone, 24/7, on the same number.
Quick checks
- Re-enter the card details carefully — card number, expiry date, and security code. A single mistyped digit reads as "invalid".
- Check the expiry date — an expired card will always decline.
- Check the card type — we accept Visa, Visa Debit, and Mastercard.
- Check with your bank if needed — banks sometimes decline online payments on their end (limits, holds, fraud checks).
If it still declines
- Don't retry the same card repeatedly — repeated attempts on a declined card won't go through and can trigger fraud flags.
- Try once with a different card, if you have one.
- After two different cards fail, stop and call billing at 1-855-804-7873 — the team has fraud-detection tools and can sort out what's blocking the payment.
Other ways to pay right now
