I'm moving — can I take my Eyesurf service with me?

In most cases, yes — you can bring your Eyesurf service to your new address. Call 1-855-804-7873 or use the chat at eyesurf.net to book the move, and give as much notice as you can — you'll receive confirmation of your move request within 24 to 72 business hours. Your equipment goes with you, so there's nothing to return, and your current service stays active until the new one is set up. We re-check availability at the new address as part of the move.

How to book a move

Call 1-855-804-7873 (or use the chat at https://www.eyesurf.net) and have these five things ready:

  1. Your new address, including the postal code
  2. Whether the new place is a house, condo, or apartment (and the unit number)
  3. The date you'd like service moved
  4. The best phone number for a technician to reach you
  5. Whether you prefer to be contacted by phone or email

How much notice do I need to give?

The more, the better — book your move as soon as you know your date. You'll receive confirmation of your move request within 24 to 72 business hours, and the team will follow up to schedule the new address.

Your equipment moves with you

Bring your equipment — modem, router, and any Vilo mesh units — from the old address to the new one. There's nothing to return when you're moving your service.

What happens next

  • Your current service stays active until the new one is set up — no gap in between.
  • We re-check availability at your new address as part of the move; if it can't be confirmed automatically, our sales team verifies it from your move request. You can also preview the new address yourself any time with the coverage check.
  • Some setups can be completed remotely (self-install); you'll be advised if a technician visit is needed at the new place.

If the new address isn't in our coverage area

Eyesurf serves Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, British Columbia, and Alberta, address-by-address — see Where does Eyesurf offer service?. If we can't serve your new address:

  • Someone taking over your old place? They can take over the service (a "transfer of responsibility") — they skip the new-customer setup steps. The incoming resident just needs to speak with us directly, and ask us about referral credit when you call.
  • Expecting a serviceable address within 60 days? Ask about keeping your equipment for the new location instead of returning it.
  • Otherwise you can cancel — see What is the cancellation policy?
