I received my SIM card. Now what?

Follow the steps below depending on whether you had requested a new number or are transferring your current number

(Note: This article is for physical SIM cards. For eSIM cards, see here)

If you had requested a new number...

Visit our MySIM portal to activate your SIM card. You will need your full SIM card number (found on the back of the card) and your customer ID (found on your invoice)

If you currently have a SIM card in your device, remove your SIM card.

Insert the SIM card you received from us into your device.

Allow your device up to an hour to fully activate and connect to the network.

That's it! You're all set now

If you are transferring your number...

Visit our MySIM portal to activate your SIM card. You will need your full SIM card number (found on the back of the card) and your customer ID (found on your invoice)

Do not remove your old SIM card yet. Within 1-3 hours, you will receive a text message requesting to confirm your port. Follow the instructions and respond to the SMS to authorize the port. _You must respond within 90 minutes of receiving the SMS otherwise the port will automatically fail._

Once completed, your current SIM will lose signal shortly after. When this happens, remove your current SIM card and replace with your new card from us (Note: it can take up to an hour to lose signal)

Allow your phone a few minutes to connect to the network. If you do not have network connectivity in over 5 minutes, you may need to reboot your device.

That's it! You're all set now.
