Why am I getting a “Weak Security Error"?
Fix Wi-Fi security errors using our self-help app.
Some devices may show an error while connecting to networks that use an older security standard. Apple iOS 14 may also flag most older Wi-Fi connections (WEP, WPA, WPA2 TKIP or WPA2 TKIP+AES) as "Weak Security."

To fix this error, you need to log in to your modem's configuration page and change the Authentication type to WPA2 and Wireless Security/Encryption mode to AES.
