How do I change my WiFi Channel?
Find your modem brand below and follow the instructions
SmartRG 516
1. Open a browser and visit http://192.168.1.1/
2. When prompted, enter admin for the user and kh3mfMAK for the password
3. Click Wireless
4. Click 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz depending which network you are using
5. Click Advanced
6. Change the Channel. 1,6, or 11 works best for 2.4GHz.
7. Click Apply/Save at the bottom

Arris DG2470A
1. Open a browser and visit http://192.168.0.1
2. For username enter admin and for password enter password. If that doesn't work, use cusadmin for the username and password for the password
3. On the top menu, choose Wireless
4. From the sub-menu, choose Wireless 2.4 GHz (or Wireless 5 GHz depending on what interface you are modifying).
5. To change the channel, click Basic. Change the Channel. 1,6, or 11 works best for 2.4GHz.
6. When completed, click Apply at the bottom

1. Open a browser and visit http://192.168.0.1/
2. When prompted, enter cusadmin for the user and password for the password
3. From the top menu, click Wireless
4. From the submenu, click Basic Settings
5. Click 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz depending which network you are using
6. Change the Channel. 1,6, or 11 works best for 2.4GHz.
7. When completed, click Save Changes at the bottom

1. Open a browser and visit http://192.168.0.1
2. From the Status menu (the only menu available) choose DOCSIS WAN.
3. Leave the Username and Password empty and click Log In. You will arrive at the admin view, where you have a choice of more menu items.
4. On the top menu, choose Wireless
5. From the sub-menu, choose Radio Settings. From here you can change the channel of the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
6. When completed, click Save Settings at the bottom

Compal CH8568
1. Open a browser and visit http://192.168.0.1 The password is printed on the label on the side of the device.
2. On the top menu, click Wireless and click Wireless Signal.
3. From here you can change the channel of the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
4. Uncheck Auto to manually select a channel. ,6, or 11 works best for 2.4GHz.
5. When completed, click Apply Changes at the bottom
